The Butcher in Prague escape room is a truly intense experience. The atmosphere is fantastic - from the very beginning you feel a constant sense of unease that never really leaves you. On top of that, unexpected things happen during the game that really add to the tension. The place itself is a bit dusty and gritty, so I’d recommend bringing a change of clothes. We didn’t manage to escape, but maybe you’ll have better luck.
I went there with my siblings, who had never tried an escape room before. I’m not sure if it was the best idea given the dark atmosphere, but in the end they had an amazing time. Personally, the atmosphere made it even harder for me to focus on solving puzzles (in a good way), because I kept glancing over my shoulder, never quite sure what might happen next.
Also, a special thanks to Ondra, our game master – really friendly and welcoming. I really recommend it!
