Neon lights spill a pink-green glow across the room on the ground floor of an old brick building, located in one of the rougher districts of a large, gloomy city.
Heavy music oozes rhythmically from the speakers, almost magically blending with the gray smoke filling the space. Graffiti glowing under ultraviolet light and the dimness hiding the nooks of the club create a one-of-a-kind atmosphere...
From the moment you stepped in, you felt you’d remember this night forever.
Seeing you enter, a middle-aged man with long, thick dreadlocks and a glowing cigarette in his mouth sized you up.
“Don’t take a cab back,” he said casually, pulling the joint from his lips. “That’s what the detective said. He was hanging around here for over a month, but I haven’t seen him in a week.”
“Wonder if he’ll come back,” he added, exhaling smoke.
It was one of those strange, random conversations you only recall later—when they suddenly seem eerily relevant.
But for now, that doesn’t matter. What matters is having a good time, so party through half the night—or longer...
Thick, gray clouds seem to hang just above your heads. The darkness of the street is lit by the warm glow of an old lantern. Moments later, the area is flooded with a bright, almost blue flash, followed by the crack of thunder.
The gentle, quiet rain begins to intensify. A storm is coming.
You were supposed to walk home, but luck is on your side. From around the corner, just in time, a yellow car pulls up—with a slightly cracked, glowing “TAXI” sign on the roof—stopping right in front of you...
Now, only two questions echo in your minds:
“Where are we, really?”
“Will we be able to get out of here?”
