If your review was rejected, it most likely violated one of the rules below. Check the reason and find out how to edit the text so we can publish it.

Why might your review have been rejected?

Below you will find the most common reasons why a review is rejected by a moderator. In most cases, a small correction is all it takes to get it published. Find out what might have influenced the decision and how you can fix it.

Issues related to the content of the review

The most common reasons for rejection of a review stem from its content, which may reveal too many details, be unreadable or violate general rules.

    • The review reveals spoilers or plot details (Reg. Section 50.4) - Your review contains information about the solutions to puzzles, mechanisms of action or key elements of the plot. Such content can spoil the fun for other players. How to improve it? Describe your general impressions, without revealing specific solutions or surprises.
    • The review is vague, too general or does not relate to gameplay (Reg. Section 50.3) - the content of the review is very short, not specific or does not relate to the experience of the room and service. How to improve it? Add more details, such as climate, puzzles or service.
    • The review contains offensive, hateful or discriminatory language (Reg. Section 50.3) - we are committed to a cultural space for all users, so this type of content is not accepted. How to correct it? Edit the review in a more neutral and subdued tone.
    • The review contains external links (Reg. Section 50.5) - Links to other sites are not allowed in reviews. How to correct this? Remove links from the content of the review.
    • The review violates general content rules (Reg. Section 50.6) - A review may contain advertising content, sensitive data or illegal information. How to correct it? Remove the prohibited content and focus on your own impressions of the game.

    Issues of objectivity and independence

Lockme's ranking is based solely on authentic player experiences, so we take care to ensure that there is no conflict of interest and that reviews are fully independent.

    • Review sent after a free or test visit (Reg. Section 50.1) - your game was a test, free or cooperative visit. Such visits are not included in the ranking. Why? We only publish reviews from regular, paid bookings.
    • Review sent by a person affiliated with the company (Reg. Section 50.2) - there are indications of your affiliation with the owners, developers or room staff. Why? We only allow feedback from independent players to ensure the reliability of the ranking.

    Account verification issues

To prevent abuse and manipulation of the ranking, we require user verification. Your review may have been rejected for technical reasons related to identification:

    • The account is not linked to Facebook (Appendix Section 3.1) - this is now a required element of verification. How to correct this? Link your Lockme account to your Facebook profile in the settings.
    • Facebook data does not match the data on the platform (Annex point 3.2) - the data on both accounts is inconsistent. How to correct it? Make sure the first and last name are the same on both profiles.
    • Facebook account is not identifiable (Annex point 3.2) - FB profile is anonymous or does not contain basic information. How to correct it? Complete the data, such as your first name, last name and profile photo.

Important: Whenever your review is rejected by a moderator, you will receive an email with a detailed explanation and an indication of the point of the rules that was violated. Before you worry, check your inbox, including your SPAM folder.

How to correct and resend a review?

If your review only requires editing the content or completing the data, go to your User Profile, correct the review and save the changes. It will be resubmitted for moderation.
