Ghost created an escape room to promote new album

Promotion using an escape room is nothing new. Many big companies have already decided on this kind of promotion before. Noteworthy among them is Marvel Studio, which promoted the Avengers movie in this way. This time the puzzles were used to promote a music album. Can you Escape The Ministry?

Swedish metal band Ghost, hidden behind disguises and masks, created an online escape room Escape The Ministry to promote their latest EP Phantomime. The album features 5 well-known covers of musicians such as Tina Turner, Genesis and The Stranglers. As you move through the game, you can hear all of these songs.

In the game, the player goes to The Ministry and receives a message from Sister Imperator about the planned renovation. The player can explore The Ministry, face some puzzles and read interesting facts about the band. Both the aforementioned Sister Imperator and other characters mentioned in the game are well-known characters from the Ghost universe.

The game does not contain difficult puzzles and it’s not so extensive, but it is a treat for fans of the band. It also shows that using the escape room concept is a good idea for promotion. Check it out for yourself!
