Yesterday, we decided to test our puzzle-solving skills at the "Enchanted Amulets" escape room in Krakow. This room, designed for 2-8 players with an intermediate difficulty level, provided a thrilling adventure over a 65-minute gameplay.
Our trio, including a first-timer, embarked on this quest filled with a variety of puzzles that kept us on our toes. Unlike linear escape rooms, "Enchanted Amulets" allows multiple puzzles to be tackled simultaneously, making it a bustling hive of activity where everyone can contribute independently. This setup is ideal for larger groups, as there’s enough to keep everyone engaged without stepping on each other’s toes.
We didn’t manage to escape within the allotted time, but we felt particularly lucky as the staff allowed us a bit more time to finish our adventure, possibly because there wasn’t another group scheduled immediately after us. This gesture made our experience even more enjoyable.
The puzzles themselves were a mix of classic and innovative challenges, each contributing to the unfolding narrative in a meaningful way. The mechanics and electronics involved worked flawlessly, adding a smooth and enjoyable rhythm to our game.
For those planning a visit, consider bringing a larger group. More minds and hands make for lighter work and amplify the fun, especially in a room as richly detailed and expansive as this one.
