Integration with Lock.me is possible in 3 ways, one of which is Google Calendar. Note that if you want to integrate with Google Calendar, you must have a reservation system set up.
Introductory information
- Google Calendar integration is available in three modes,
- Each room should be assigned to one calendar to avoid problems with blocking appointments,
- In "only from calendar to Lockme" mode, adding an event to Google Calendar automatically locks room availability in Lockme.
Integration
Step 1
Log in to your Partner account. Then go to the "Integrations" > "Add" tab. Enter your general information, save it, and then proceed to step two.
Step 2
Click on "Connect to Google Calendar", select an account and go through the procedure of connecting the application to Google. If the process passes successfully you will receive the message "GCal authorization completed".
Then select the type of integration you are interested in:
- Bidirectional - synchronization is done in both directions between Lockme and Google Calendar,
- One-way "from Lockme to Calendar only" - events from Lockme are uploaded to Google Calendar,
- One-way "from Calendar to Lockme only" - the system downloads events from Google Calendar and locks the appointments in Lockme.
Connecting rooms
- Select a room and the calendar to which it should be connected.
- You can instantly assign any number of rooms to different calendars, depending on your needs.
- Save your changes and activate the synchronization using the "Activate" button.
IMPORTANT: Avoid assigning multiple rooms to a single calendar, as this may cause problems with the calendar's operation in case of bidirectional integration.
Synchronize calendars
You can synchronize your calendars at any time through the "Synchronize Calendars" option. During synchronization:
- Select the synchronization mode.
- Specify whether you want the synchronization to apply to all rooms or just one.
Important information
- We support ranges, which means that the event blocks appointments whose start time is within the event. Deleting a reservation deletes the entire event,
- "Only from calendar to Lockme" mode - deleting a booking in Lockme does not delete the event in the calendar, BUT deleting an event in the calendar deletes the booking from Lockme,
- Lockme booking data will look different in Google Calendar depending on the source of the booking and the data that is within the booking,
- #block - creates when booking with Lockme, once booking is paid #block disappears,
- LM - booking paid by Lockme.
