In this post you will learn what Trip Planner is and how to use it to plan an escape room trip. You will learn its basic functions and how to create a plan.
What is the planner used for?
The planner is used to conveniently organize escape room-related trips in one place. It allows you to plan a whole day or several days, adding selected rooms and other events, and then automatically arranges them into a logical and optimal schedule. With the planner, you can easily control the time, the order of attractions and the logistics of the rides, making it much easier to organize even more extensive trips.
Creating the planner
You can find the trip planner on the Lockme home page, in the top menu, under the "Trip planner" tab. To start planning a trip, click the "Create a new plan" button, which will open a form for entering details.

Then fill in the basic information about the trip:
Name of the plan - any name, such as "Trip to Wroclaw"
Start and end date and time - define the time frame of the plan
Country - the place where the trip is taking place
Friends - people who are to have access to the plan (must have an account on Lockme. Once added, they will receive a notification that the plan has been created, and the plan will be visible in their profile)
Means of transportation - e.g. car, affects the way the route is calculated
Time margin (in minutes) - additional time before and after each attraction
Time zone - tailored to the location of the trip

After completing the data, move on to add events.
Adding events
In the next step, you can complete the plan with specific program points. There are different types of events to choose from:

Escape rooms from Lockme
Escape rooms from outside Lockme
Breaks (for example, for food or rest)
Other events (any activities)
You can add multiple events (maximum 25) and modify them freely before generating the plan. For details, see the articles:
After adding all events, click the "Generate schedule!" button to create a ready-made schedule.
