The system offers a comprehensive notification mechanism that provides immediate visual and audio information about new events (such as new bookings). Users can review the notification history and adjust the audio signaling mode.
Access and Location
Both sound settings and the notification center are easily accessible from anywhere in the system. The corresponding icons are located in the top right corner of the top navigation bar, right next to the logged-in user's name.
Notification Center (Bell Icon)
Next to the sound settings is a bell icon. Clicking it opens a list of the most recent notifications. This provides a convenient way to check event details and history, especially if the user was unable to react to a notification the moment it appeared.
Available Sound Modes
By clicking the sound icon, the user can switch between three signaling modes:
Speaker icon – standard sound signaling. The system plays a standard audio alert when an event occurs.
Person with a microphone icon – voice lector signaling. Instead of a simple tone, the system plays a clear voice message read by a lector.
Crossed-out speaker icon – notifications completely muted. The system remains silent, relying solely on visual alerts available under the bell icon.
Types of Audio Messages
In both the standard sound and voice lector modes, the system distinguishes between three basic types of events, generating a specific alert for each:
Booking – a standard notification for a new game scheduled for a later date.
Booking for today – a priority alert for a new booking scheduled for the current day, requiring immediate attention.
Booking for tomorrow – an alert for a new booking scheduled for the next day.
