An Egyptian escape room that really surprised us

We regularly visit different cities and look for interesting escape rooms. Egypt is a popular theme, and we have played several versions of it, so we have plenty to compare this one with.
The advertised 90-minute duration initially made us a little hesitant. Some rooms struggle to hold our interest even for an hour, especially with complicated mechanics or repetitive “put the objects in the right order” puzzles. Here, however, our 80 minutes flew by. It was exciting and engaging throughout!
What stood out was that we didn’t encounter another collection of repetitive puzzles leading to a finale, with a contrived story added just to tie everything together. The puzzles were interesting and sometimes unconventional, while the logical, engaging storyline felt like an integral part of the adventure.
Vladimir, the owner, welcomed us, gave us the briefing and made us feel comfortable right from the start. A big thank you to him for the immersive experience and the creative, original puzzles!
We also really enjoyed the room design and how naturally the puzzles and interactive elements fitted into the surroundings. The scenery contributed to the adventure and made the experience even more immersive.
Definitely recommended, including for experienced players who have already played plenty of escape rooms with an Egyptian theme and think they will be difficult to surprise.
