This is not my favorite theme, which does not change the fact that this room was quite good. I think that only one galaxy room I have plaied earlier was better. We had a lot of work to do and the time was ticking. The room isnt't linear. The puzzles are electronicks and manual. We have stuck on one puzzle and lost several minutes and in the end we dit it accidently... Nice decoration, the room looks like a real space ship. Game Master did his work very well.

Musze zacząć od tego, że statki kosmiczne nie należą do tematyk, które lubię. Ostatnio przełamuję swoje niechęci do różnych rzeczy i niektóre z nich udało mi się pokonać (polubiłem więzienne pokoje)!
Galactic Pioneers to na obecny stan najlepszy kosmiczny pokój, jaki grałem. Ma bardzo dobrze zrobiony wystrój, świetne, logiczne zagadki, dobre wprowadzenie i kilka fajnych efektów. Nasza game masterka Alex bardzo dobrze wprowadziła nas do fabuły.
Jedynie brakowało więcej efektów, czy to świetlnych, dźwiękowych, czy jakiegoś dymu, wtedy mogłoby być idealnie! :)

I have to start by saying that spaceships are not topics I like. Recently I have been overcoming my aversions to various things and I managed to overcome some of them (I liked prison rooms)!
Galactic Pioneers is currently the best space room I've ever played. It has a very well-done design, great logical puzzles, a good introduction and some cool effects. Our game master Alex introduced us to the plot very well.
The only thing missing was more effects (light, sound or some smoke), then it could have been perfect! :)

Galactic Pioneers to na obecny stan najlepszy kosmiczny pokój, jaki grałem. Ma bardzo dobrze zrobiony wystrój, świetne, logiczne zagadki, dobre wprowadzenie i kilka fajnych efektów. Nasza game masterka Alex bardzo dobrze wprowadziła nas do fabuły.
Jedynie brakowało więcej efektów, czy to świetlnych, dźwiękowych, czy jakiegoś dymu, wtedy mogłoby być idealnie! :)

This is not our favorite theme, which does not change the fact that this is a very good escape room. There's a lot going on here, a lot of electronics puzzles and tasks that fits the space theme well. From the perspective of two players, at first the room may seem much more difficult than actually is. Very good game mastering.

A real space escape room. The goal is to save the interstellar mission of the title spaceship which was supposed to colonize another planet... Such a serious mission cannot be easy and in fact two players will have a lot of tasks and puzzles to deal with here. As for the riddles, lots of elements that require perceptiveness and cooperation, wrapped in manual and electronic solutions, sometimes a bit of everything at once. The riddles are not lost in high-tech. Very good flow of the game. To recommend, especially to the fans of sci-fi themes.

To galaxy far far away ... and beyond!

Galactic Pioneers is a very high quality game, definitely one of the best ones in Prague. Before the game you are introduced into the story through quite unusual briefing. You witness the high quality from the very first seconds when you step into the room. Also, you are greeted with a voice that could be familiar to people that have played a certain masterpiece of a video game that I won't specify :). As expected, that is a game with spaceship theme and it executes it very well. There are some actions to be taken in this game where calling them "puzzles" may be a bit of a stretch, but they just beautifully fit into the theme as in order to proceed you need to put yourself in a mindset of spaceship rebel from a movie rather than an escape room player and these are likely to be reminisced as highlights of this room . That by no means means that this is a "task room" as high quality puzzles are plentiful. The difficulty is rather high, it's geared towards analytical minds, be prepared to give your brain a proper workout. As much as I hate this expression, I imagine some people might call it a "mathematical room".

Also, I had a very unexpected conversation after the game. I was wearing a T-shirt from the company that I worked in a few years earlier - called "imo". Incidentally, that is also the acronym for the International Mathematical Olympiad (shortened as IMO, but in uppercase) that I attended in high school, but this connection is a total coincidence. When Game Master noticed my shirt he asked me if I participated in the IMO :D. I told him that my shirt has absolutely no connection to it, but nevertheless I did participate in it anyway :D. That's probably not that funny in the written form as it was for me then, but I would like to point out how unlikely that event was - from the perspective of GM, once he knows that "imo" and "IMO" have nothing to do with themselves, I am no longer more likely to have participated in IMO than a random stranger that has just played an escape room, so at this point probability of answering that positively is probably at most 1 in around tens of thousands and still it happened anyway :P.

In my rating scale that I decided to adapt (1-horrible, 2-ok, possibly flawed, 3-good, worth doing, 4-very good, 5-extraordinary) I grade this at:
Set design, production value: 5
Puzzles: 4
Something original: 4
Did I have fun?: 4

Moc povedená hra. To nejlepší na celé hře je její desing. Skvěle vybavená místnost, nikde neuvidíe kousek bílé zdi. Opravdu se cítíte jako ve vesmírné lodi. Tady není co vytknout. Jednotlivé hádanky pěkně souvisí s prostředním a jsou pěkně rozmanité a různé. Tak jak to má být. Finále je parádní s důrazem na spolupráci. Byli jsme ve 4 takže ideální počet na tuto hru. Doporučuji.
